playing in the dirt...

In celebration of SplitCoastStamper's 5th anniversary all the fan club members are invited to join the Dirty Girls and play with a series of challenges.  Now I have a little block about these challenges so I have never made it all the way through them, but this year I am determined.  This is my first card which I made for 2 of the challenges (Kitty747's lost and found and rsalamon's embrace the white space) as well as the Crazy 4 Challenges button challenge.  Nothing fancy here on this one, just a clean and simple card with some black twill tape that I saved from some packaging and a button out of my grandma's button box. What I used: Our Daily Bread Designs; the Living Bread, Our Daily Bread black and kraft card stock Versafine black Versamagic wheat chalk ink various Tim Holtz distress inks recycled from packaging black twill tape button from my grandma's button box clear embossing powder hemp sponge

Hello and thank you for visiting today.  It is time for me to share with you a little project I have been working on for the last couple of weeks.  I found this 7 Gypsys ATC frame on the clearance rack at my local craft store and knew right away what I wanted to do with it.  I could picture it with a scripture in each box. After I brought it home I searched through my paper stash and found a piece os Prima "First Love" designer paper that I had purchased from Kelley at the Albany show.  I have been reluctant to use it because it was just to pretty to cut into.  I also found that I had a matching set of Prima chipboard letters, that I dirtied up so they would stand out a bit more. After embossing all the verses, I added a bit of bling then some black ribbon, brads and charm crosses as well as some sponging,  glimmer mist and a bit of black speckling, and some flowers that I cut out with my cricut and had assembled. What I used: Our Daily Bread Designs: Our Daily Bread
