I love making man cards!  I know that is weird, since most people find them a bit hard to do, but they are so my thing.  I love the rich earth tones and rough textures that make a card manly.  Add a bit of sponging, a simple layout, some hardware and there you have it; the perfect man card!  Gotta love it. What I used: Our Daily Bread Designs Never Thirst SU very vanilla, early espresso 7 Gypsies designer paper SU early espresso classic stamp pad Tim Holtz brushed corduroy distress ink pad sponge Cuttlebug clock works embossing folder SU ribbon scrap, jumbo eyelet

bellarific friday...

Image
Happy Friday everyone!  I hope your week has been great and that you have the weekend off to play like I do.   This is a pretty rare event for me and I am taking full advantage of the love the scheduling fairy has shown me by giving me the holiday weekend off.  Tomorrow the hubby and I are attending a Rascal Flatts concert, Sunday I am hoping to get a little creative time in then Monday we are taking the littles to the NYS Fair.  So busy, busy weekend packed full of fun.  Okay I should probably stop gloating and tell you about my card that is the real reason you have stopped by to visit.  Todays card if for this weeks Bellarific Friday challenge which was to use an animal.   This adorable Turtle Tot is actually the only animal bella stamp I own, tragic isn't it?  I will have to remedy that just as soon as I convince my kids that they really don't have to eat so often, LOL. What I used: Stamping Bella Turtle Tots SU whisper white, daffodil delight, basic black card stock ?

Our Daily Bread Designs September blog hop...

Hello!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs September blog hop.  If you just arrived here from Angie Crockett's blog "Body, Mind, Spirit, and STAMPS " then you are in the right place.  If you just popped in for a visit I would encourage you to head on over to the Our Daily Bread Designs blog and start the hop at the beginning.  I guarantee it will be worth your time because this team has some seriously gorgeous stuff to share.   This month once again our blog hop is pretty simple.  Hop to each blog, leaving a comment for each member of the team, then return to the ODBD blog and let us know that you finished.  Three of our team members will be giving away one of three prizes (one $15, one $20 and one $25 gift certificates).  The blog hop ends on September 2nd at 8:00 PM.  So make sure you get all your comments done by then.  The winners will be announced on Saturday along with the Shining the Light Challenge.   My card this month is a pretty simple one again.  I used
