stamping therapy...
It is time for me to stop sulking and get my butt in gear. Yes I think I have made my decision but I am not making a general announcement until Tuesday because I am still waiting to hear back from Stampin' Up!, in the mean time it is business as usual around here. Besides is there any better therapy then stamping?
I did a little stamping yesterday but it was design team stuff that ya all just have to wait to see. While blog hopping (or is that blurfing?) this morning I discovered that Our Daily Bread Designs has a cool challenge going. The challenge is entitled "three for thee" and they are giving away some great prizes. So you might want to check it out. I decided to combine that with todays SplitCoastStampers "Ways to Use it" challenge with is to use sanding. Now I have to say I have some kind of defect in me when it comes to pocket cards, I have never, ever made one right the first time. Luckily I got this one on the second try. Beate has done a wonderful tutorial for this "double pocket card" that even I can follow. I used some cuttlebug embossing folder with textured, light core card stock then sanded to bring out he design.
What I used:
ODBD DT Scripture Collection 1
GP white card stock, SU chocolate chip card stock
blue and green core'dinations card stock
DCWV Garden Party designer paper
chocolate chip classic ink pad
scallop edge punch EK
several different cuttlebug embossing folders
chocolate chip tafetta ribbon, white satin ribbon
sanding block, sponge
