Now onto my card. I am in a fallish kinda mood (you know what I mean, the leaves are turning beautifully and it is football every weekend) so the new set "Randi's Song" was absolutely the perfect set to express that. I went for simple as usually, just a couple of pops of color to let the verse shine through. For a something a little different both verses are actually stamped on some of the Basic Grey Pyrus designer paper, you know those pages in the back that are usually left over, one of those. I just added a bit of sponging to soften them up a bit, then layered them on some more of the yummy pyrus paper.
Well enough blah, blah, blah about me because it is time for you to hop over to visit our fabulous guest designer for the next couple of months Marcelle Schauer's blog "Stamping Thyme". Make sure you show her some love.
What I used:
SU cajun craze, early espresso card stock
Basic Grey Pyrus designer paper
SU early espresso, crumb cake, close to cocoa ink pad
sponges
SU vintage brad and stripped ribbon
