Our Daily Bread Designs December blog hop...
Good morning all! Can you believe that it is December all ready? Well it is, so it is time for the Our Daily Bread blog hop! If you arrived here from Kathy Jones's blog Inspired to Stamp, then you are in the right place. If you just popped in from somewhere else you may want to head over to the Our Daily Bread Designs blog and start the hop at the beginning. If you find any broken links along the way you can head there to get back on track.
The hop will run through December 2nd at 8:00pm EST. So make sure you stop at each of the team members blogs and leave a comment, then comment (and answer the question) on the ODBD blog to be eligible for one of the four fabulous prizes that Kelly is providing.
I am super excited that Our Daily Bread Designs has been chosen to partner with Spellbinders. I love ODBD and Spellbinders and to have them working together is going to be amazing. Here is what Kelley has to say about it: Our Daily Bread designs is so proud and pleased to be chosen by the Spellbinders company as a Preferred Stamp Partner. Our partnership with Spellbinders will be a blessing to the stamping community as well, as we expand our line to include perfect match sentiments, Scriptures and images to Spellbinders products. We look forward to a long and blessed partnership with such a fine product as Spellbinders. For my project I absolutely had to use ODBD Ornament set along with Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament die set. I was inspired by the plaid BG Jovial designer paper as I remember having a christmas dress as a little girl in a very similar plaid. Using that as a base for my design I colored and sponged my embossed ornament, which I cut out with the Spellbinders die. I stamped the poinsettia section of the ornament a couple of extra times, fussy cutting out the layers then reassembling it to give a bit of dimension to the flower.
Now head on over to visit Randi Barrett's blog A New Creation and show her some love! What I used:

My favourite Christmas memory ...difficult question as many to choose from. One favourite, my Dad set up the card table in front of our beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and we had homemade meat pie followed by Christmas pudding or cookies (cookies were my choice as I don't like pudding). After, we would head off to church for the service where many Christmas hymns were sung -- my favourite, Silent Night.
all the beautiful work. Love plaid
and also bought my first stamp from
