Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs December new release blog hop! If you got here from Grace's blog, you are in the right place! I was really thrill to see the new releases for this month, especially this verse stamp.  I am an avid reader, in my free time, and have been since I was a little girl.  One of my all time favorite authors is Laura Ingalls Wilder.  I spent many a day as a girl curled up with one of her books so I just had to make my first card of the month using this quote from the Simple Things stamp set.  Once again I have chosen to go simple for my card.  Just the verse and some wonder Basic Grey and BoBunny designer papers

In our church we have a ministery called the Shawl Sisters. A group of very talented women knit and crochet lap blankets and shawls for the shut-ins in our church..or for anyone that is in need. I don't knit or crochet but I do make all of the cards that we put into the packages. This card would make such a wonderful one for a man. Thanks so much for sharing your talent.

I love cards like yours that are beautiful in their color combinations yet not so complicated that your eye doesn't know what to look at first. However, looking closer at your card I kept finding little details that at first glance I missed like the tone on tone design on the bottom edge of the card. Really pretty card... and of course that bow rocked my socks off, lol!
