a longing for the beach...

Are you ready for one more sneak peek? Tomorrow is new release day for the latest Elzybell Art Stamps so I will have one last sneak to show you tomorrow morning. Todays projects has given me a longing for the beach. Every winter I visit my girlfriends beach house with a group of fabulous friends. It is a week that I look forward to every year. The greeting on this card should have been "I wish I was there" but since it isn't I will save this little card to send to which ever one of my friends doesn't manage to make it on the trip this year, though I, of course, hope that all of them can make it. I also combined challenges this morning using the SplitCoastStampers sketch challenge and the Color Throwdown color challenge.
What I used:
Elzybell Art Stamps
chocolate chip, certainly celery, perfect plum and whisper white card stock
my mind's eye designer paper
basic black stamp pad
prisma colored pencils, OMS and blending stump
fisker border punch
celery grosgrain ribbon

Make sure you check out what Elizabeth and the rest of the design team have done, and make sure you check back tomorrow for the last of the July sneak peeks.

Cute beach card; even thought they are not typical colors for beach scenes, they really work on this card.
