Well today is the day! Two years ago today Kelley Holland opened up Our Daily Bread Designs. Now I have to tell you that I have been a fan since day one. I was really excited to see a stamp company that carried lovely images paired with scripture. Stamps that allow me to express my faith, through my craft. Since that first day Kelley has released 61 wonderful stamps sets and 9 individual stamps, all filled with scripture! I dreamed of being a part of the design team and was thrill to be asked to be a part, even a small part, of this fabulous company! Happy Anniversary Our Daily Bread Designs and may God continue to bless your venture.
Today Our Daily Bread Designs is releasing 4 new stamps sets in celebration of its 2nd anniversary. Two border sets and two sets of the design teams favorite scripture verses. The best part is the border sets perfectly frame the various scripture verses.
Today's Blog Hop is special because it allows each of the Design Team members to make the first card with their own favorite Scripture! We hope you will truly enjoy the hop... and of course it wouldn't be a Blog Hop without prizes! Today, Kelley is going to give 3 Prizes of your choice of one of these new Anniversary sets! Here is what you have to do to qualify for the prizes:
- Hop from first to last, and collect the secret LETTER each designer will have.
- Leave a comment for the designer on their blog.
- Return to the ODBD blog, leaving a comment to tell us that you visited all the blogs.
- Email Grace at: gnywening@yahoo.com, giving her the secret message the letters spell.
You have until 8:00 PM EST on Mar 18th to complete the hop and email Grace the message.
I am thrilled to be able to share one of my favorite scriptures with you today in card form. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 I have taken much comfort from this verse over the years. Now I am not a shy, retiring person by nature but my faith has made it possible for me to step out and do things that I never would have thought that I could do, specifically as a foster parent. I gone places I would never have gone and done things that I would never have done if not for the children that were placed in my care. I have experienced great pain and even greater joy through these children. I have gone toe to toe with judges, school administrators, social services administrators and parents to fight to get me kids what they needed, whether it was special services, to get them back home where they belongs or for three of them to make them a permanent part of our family. And God carried me through all of it. My life has been truly blessed because He is with me wherever I go.

Thanks for sharing how God has used your favorite verse in your life. I've loved the story of Joshua since I was young and that's a long time! I love your card idea and especially the silver embossed frame.
Secondly, nothing gives you courage like a mother's love! Bless you for your work with these babies.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful verse, and one of the ways it has helped you with these children, who really need love. Thank you with all of my heart for being a foster parent...and An Adopted Mommy. I wish there were many more people to join your example. (Maybe from reading your story, someone will have their heart changed today.)
I have read this scripture before, but never as clearly as when I read it in relation to your story. It is so powerful. I love verse 1:26..same book. Enjoy that, too!
I love your card. I love the silver embossed frame, and the verse shows up so beautifully. I love the colors--from the background dp, to the brilliant raspberry bow! Wonderful!
