Our Daily Bread Designs April blog hop...

Hello everyone! Welcome to the April 1st Our Daily Bread designs new release Blog Hop! We are all so excited about the new sets and I know you will be too.  If you got here from Julie's blog, you are in the right place! If not, you might want to pop over to the Our Daily Bread designs Blog and start the hop from there!

The Hop will run from 8am EDT April 1 until 8pm EDT. April 2.  The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Sun. April 3.  For this hop, there will be THREE Prizes of One Free Set (your choice), and  ONE GRAND PRIZE of THREE FREE SETS, YOUR CHOICE!

Here is what you need to do to be entered in the drawing:
  • Leave comments for each designer on each blog
  • Return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment, telling us you completed the hop and noting any blogs you were unable to comment on.
  • Answer the question on the ODBD blog ( no need to answer it on all our blogs)
Since I have been in a simple kinda card mood lately I decided to make two fairly quick and easy cards to share with you today.  On the first one I used one of the smallest stamps from the Birds & Butterfly labels set as a little medallion and a scripture from Scripture Collections 5.  I cut out the medallion using my Grand Caliber and the Spellbinders labels 18 set which perfectly coordinates.  Basic Grey's Marjolaine designer paper went perfectly with some fun ribbon I picked up last week.

For my second card I went all manly with the Birch background and the Father's Day set.  Now my dad loves Moose and I know that I will be making his father's day card with this set for sure!  Once again I went for simple.  Simple, easy straight stamping, a bit of sponging, a scrap of ribbon and some brads.  My moose cut out with Spellbinders classic circles and layered on the ODBD fancy ovals.
Now you need to hop on over to visit Angie and see what loveliness she has to share with you today.

What I used:
Our Daily Bread Designs Father's Day, Birch background, Birds & Butterflies labels, Scripture Collection 5
SU whisper white, basic black, old olive, crumb cake, soft suede card stock
Basic Grey Marjolaine designer paper
Versafine black, Ranger brushed corduroy, SU baja breeze ink pads
Grand Caliber, Spellbinders classic circle, ODBD fancy oval, labels 18
Sizzix embossing folder
SU and Michael's ribbon,  SU brass brads, Recollections black glitter brads
sponge
