Debi's Crazy Life;

I am teaching a learn a new technique class today (yes I procrastinated!) and the stampers are all pretty advanced so I wanted to teach them Julie Buhler's "No Copics? No problem!" technique. She has a fabulous tutorial here . I love the bright vivid look of anything colored with the copic markers but they are way out of my price range. Since I do own most of SU's markers but I prefer to water color this is the perfect compromise. I really, really like this stamp set. This color combination (from todays color challenge) was a little difficult but I think I made it work. What do you think? When I first saw the new catalog I was thrilled to see a bunch of new sets that just cry out to be watercolored. I know that watercoloring isn't everyones favorite but I just love it. So when I put in my first order this set was one of the first things I had to have. The weather has been miserable here the last couple of days, rain, snow, freezing rain, everything is wet and slippery. And I am dreaming of summer. Every year my morning glories, planted along the edge of the garage, come back. I started them from one of those free packets of seed that someone gave out and every spring I go out, shake the old vines before I tear them down, rake the soil a little bit and don't they just come right back. They are so beautiful.
