Debi's Crazy Life;

Hello!  In the middle of a major burst of spring cleaning here.  Finished the girls room and sorting out all their outgrown clothing, it took me the entire day but it is done, yeah me!  Hopefully Friday I will finish the rest of the upstairs.  Made one run to give stuff to the Rescue Mission yesterday, gonna make another on the way to work this morning.  What a good feeling to get rid of all that stuff.  My girls were surprisingly good about letting go of stuff that they no longer play with or have outgrown.  It makes me proud!  And they love their clean, rearranged room. It is pretty unusual for me to use more then two embellishments on a card so this challenge from Papertake Weekly is pushing the limits a bit for me with our challenge entitled "Buttons, Bows, Brads & Bling".  But if you look carefully you will notice that the pillow in this adorable image from Moe's Digital Pencil  is all glittery, I added a button to my bow and some brads down the side so I really did manage to pull it off.  My image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copic markers were used for the flesh tones.  Why don't you join us and play along? Good morning all!  It is Wednesday morning, time for another  Color Throwdown challenge .  This weeks colors are Blush Blossom, Sage Shadow and Riding Hood Red.  Isn't that a sweet color combination?   I thought they would be fun colors to make a Valentine card with.  I used an image from Moe's digital pencil that was a freebie over on Paper Craft Planet .  I colored my image with a mix of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  Added a bit of texture with a Sizzix plate and a Cuttlebug embossing folder, a touch of Riding Hood Red ribbon and some jumbo white brads.
