he watches over me...

Another sneak peek of one of Our Daily Bread Designs February release. This set is "He Watches Over Me". This sparrow with his thistle was a joy to color. I used my favorite Prismacolor pencils, of course. I cut the main image out with a deckled rectangle Nestabilities and sponged with some Colorbox chalk ink. I created this card for this weeks SplitCoastStampers Limited Supply challenge hosted by my stamping buddy Wendy. And boy did she come up with a tough one involving palindromes. I used this weeks sketch from the Lord Have Mercy blog, though I shifted it a touch to the left to make room to put a touch of ribbon.
What I used:
GP white, soft suede, elegant eggplant card stock
Memento black and brown, Colorbox chalk ink
Prismacolor pencils, OMS, blending stumps
Textile Cuttlebug embossing folder
deckled rectangle Nestabilitie die
soft suede polkadot ribbon
