Basic Grey designer paper
Versafine black, Ranger antique linen and brushed corduroy
Spellbinders and Grand Caliber
clear embossing powder
SU ribbon and brads

Monday I got some new toys from my old demo who is now my upline. One of the things I got was the Pretties Kit. I have been hoarding them, petting them and drooling on them. (Picture me as Golem with his precious) I went so far as to let a friend look at them the other day, but not touch, LOL. So today I decided I needed to just do it and open the box and gasp, use them. Here they are aren't they, well, pretty, my precious, er I mean my pretties? I really did use some of them. First I put a crystal bead and a white pearl on a hat pin. Then I got all wild and crazy and used my aquapainter and a soft sky reinker to dye a couple of flowers and held them together with a rhinestone brad. What do you think? And since I was on a roll this morning I got out another new stamp set called Autumn Harvest and played around with it and the distressing tool from the cutter kit. The leaves may be a bit too much, but over all I am pleased with it.

Good morning all.  Welcome to the May Day Our Daily Bread Designs blog hop .  If you arrived here from Randi's blog A New Creation then you are in the right place.  If you just popped in from somewhere else you may want to go to the Our Daily Bread Designs blog to start at the beginning.  Grace has all the rules posted there, which you need to know and besides you don't want to miss any of the good stuff everyone has posted.  The hop will last from May 1st through the 3rd at 8:00 PM EST.   In New England it used to be a custom that on May first, people would make "May Baskets" for neighbors and friends,filling them with flowers or other little gifts,and then go hang them on their doorknob, knock or ring the bell, and run and hide until they had found their basket. Good morning all.  I am very excited this morning to have a part in showing you the new release from Our Daily Bread Designs .  If you arrived here from Angie's blog you are in the right place.  If not you may want to hop on over to the Our Daily Bread Designs blog to start the hop at the beginning.  There you will also find all the details about the hop and what you need to do to qualify for one of the prizes.
