Our Daily Bread Designs July new release blog hop

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs July new release blog hop!  If you arrived here from Grace's blog you are in the right place if not you make want to hop on over to the Our Daily Bread Designs blog to begin the hop at the beginning, because you know you don't want to miss a single stop along the way.

This month's hop will run from 8am July 1st thru 8pm July 2nd EDT.  The winners will be announced July 3rd on the ODBD blog.  Just make sure you visit each of the teams blogs and leave the girls some love.  The hop ends at the ODBD blog and just leave us a comment there to let us know that you finished.

I am honored to be returning to the bread basket after a brief hiatus (to get my work life and home life in balance again) where I played along with the challenge team.  How exciting is it to return to the design team just as Kelley is releasing these fabulous sets!  On my card I used both the Surging Sea and Smooth Sailing set.  I love that she included the compass rosette in the Smooth Sailing set which makes it super easy to add several layers to the image from Surging Sea and it works well to create a background when random stamped.
a close up of the details
now hop on along and visit the very talented
and see what loveliness she has in store for you today!

What I used:
Our Daily Bread Designs Surging Sea and Smooth Sailing
SU soft sky, crumb cake, early espresso, night of navy, riding hood red
BoBunny et cetera designer paper
Versafine black, SU crumb cake, Ranger antique linen
clear embossing powder, twine, Basic Grey brad, sponge

This stamp set reminds of a song that says, "I will not fear the war, I will not fear the storms, my help is on the way, my help is on the way." You have just filled my head with a wonderful idea to build up another who is hurting. Thank you.
