gasp!!!! too busy to stamp

I have actually really been too busy to stamp. Since Matt left for college I have been redoing and moving around all of the kids bedrooms. Part therapy and part it just really needed to be done. This is of course in addition to the usual craziness around here. Well I am finally in the home stretch. Daniel's room is completely done. I just need to finish up the closet in Jessika's room. Ellie's room was the most labor intensive since I had a bunch of mismatched, salvage furniture that all got a major face-lift (multiple coats of high gloss enamel white paint). I only have the closet door and one more coat of paint on the desktop to do then the painting is done!! The big comfy chair is being moved into her room and I need to make a slip cover for it, since it is sooooo sorry looking now. Manny's room still needs some work but we haven't come up with a theme for it yet so it will have to wait until I have finished the other stuff. But anyway I took a break from all of that to stamp today. Just another quick card that I am going to send off to Matt at college. The horizontal strip on this card is river rock and I have to admit I am having trouble using this color. I have only used it a couple of times and need to use it more. I think it looks okay with these colors but I am not completely satisfied with the result but I will share it with you any way.
What I used:
Moose You stamp set, Whimsy jumbo wheel
chocolate chip, really rust, river rock and very vanilla card stock
chocolate chip classic ink
chocolate chip satin ribbon

Great card. I love River Rock - I find it looks great with Soft Sky and Blue Bayou. It is the Groovy Guava that stumps me! I think we all have colours that work for us and ones that make us crazy!
