more a light unto my path...

I know, I know. The same stamp set, the same colors. What is up with that?

Sorry but I really like this color combination and todays pictures are better so you can see that the color combo is actually good. I had an image in my head and had to waste a bunch of card stock to get it to come out the way I wanted it to but I am happy with the end results. This card is a window card. The main image of the card is inside the card and you view it through a "window" in the card. Clever? Not my original idea but one certainly worth using.

What I used:
A Light Unto My Path stamp set
Night of Navy, Wild Wasabi and Confetti White card stock
Night of Navy classic ink pad
Wild Wasabi striped grosgrain ribbon

What I did:
I used the coluzzle cutting system to cut the ovals. I cut the oval in the confetti white card stock first then lined it up with the inside layer of white, marked where the oval was with pencil so I could erase it after I was done, then stamped the lighthouse image in night of navy ink. I then cut the wild wasabi layer and the oval out of the night of navy card base using the white layer as a placement template.
here is the card closed,
and open.
