back to work...

Good morning all.  It is a bright super cold morning here in central NY.  My sinus headache has finally retreated enough for me to head to my office and finish up some projects I have been working on for the last week or two.  I started this one last Wednesday for the SCS sketch challenge and the Color Throwdown challenge.  I could not manage to get the center panel correct for anything.  This is my third (and final!) attempt at getting it all to work together.  For my card I used Our Daily Bread Designs January stamp set "Faith" and some of the lovely BG Curio designer paper.  I thought the two were the perfect combination for both the sketch and the soft color combination.
What I used:
Our Daily Bread Designs Faith
SU crumb cake, pear pizzazz, blushing bride, early espresso
Versafine black ink pad
SU crumb cake, pear pizzazz ink pad
clear embossing powder
Sizzix embossing folder
sponge
dark brown satin ribbon

It's beautiful! Love the 3-D butterflies. The colors are beautiful for this choice of images, too.
