the hope we have...

Hello everyone.  I worked the mid-shift today so I found a bit of playtime this morning and time to share this evening.  I was intrigued by the SplitCoastStamper Technique Lover's challenge (aka try a new technique) today which was to create a Bargello Design.  I used some Basic Grey scraps to make my background then layered it up with a classic circle and a lacy circle created with my Grand Caliber and a couple of my favorite Nestabilities.  If you look very carefully you will notice that my soft sky circle has the ODBD Fish background on it and the lovely verse of from the ODBD Anchor stamp set.  My layout is inspired by the CPS sketch and the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge.

What I used:
Our Daily Bread Designs Anchor and Fish background
SU soft sky, whisper white and early espresso card stock
Basic Grey Marjolaine designer paper
SU soft sky, early espresso classic  and Ranger brushed corduroy stamp pads
Grand Caliber and Spellbinders Nestabilities
dark brown grosgrain ribbon
sponge
