fresh cuts...

The colors of the day are Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Kraft from the color challenge over on SplitCoastStampers. I combined the color challenge with the Mojo Monday sketch challenge and this is what I came up with.Nothing fancy on this just a couple of little fussy details. I stamped the main image with NQN classic ink on kraft card stock then added a little baja breeze ink with an aquapainter and sponged around the edges. I added some color to the leaves with a mellow moss Stampin' Write marker. I made the scalloped edge on the circle (which was cut with my coluzzle) with a small corner punch, then pierced with a piercing tool.

What I used:
Fresh Cuts stamp set
Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Kraft card stock
Urban Garden designer paper
Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze classic stamp pads
wide stitched baja breeze grosgrain ribbon
mat pack and piercing tool
Build-a-Brad
1/2 circle punch, small corner rounder
coluzzle cutting system
sponge

This is so pretty! The colors are just gorgeous!
Wow Debi,

Thanks for posting such a spectacular card on my Birthday.
I love the vintage feel.

I love that lots of bloggers out there celebrated with me (even if they didn't know that's why they posted such terrific pieces - LOL!)

Ever wish you could meet all the thousands of people who share your special day? Every once in awhile crazy questions for truly bent statisticians occur in the middle of the night:

On what day were the most number of people born in a calendar year? - I'm sure that has all kinds of interesting implications - lol!

If all the people born on the same day stood in the same place at the same time would that cause the world to tilt? Kind of like the whole angels on the head of a pin I guess!

The rest just get sillier(if that's possible) so I'll cut it off here.

Hugs and blessings - Jean
