Our Daily Bread November New Release!

Good morning all! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs November Release Blog Hop!!! If you came here from Angella Crockett's blog, Body Mind, Spirit and Stamps you are in the right place! If you just happened on to my blog and did not start at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog you should go there now and start at the beginning. You really need to start at the beginning because along your journey you are going to find secret words hidden along the hop which you need to collect along with the name of each designer, make sure you comment on each one too. Then you will return to the ODBD blog and leave a comment that you have visited all the blogs. There you will find an email address to email your secret words to. That is all you have to do for the chance to win the ENTIRE NEW RELEASE for this month, three fabulous sets to make wonderful Christmas cards.

Now would you like to see a couple of projects made using the new release? This month along with the three stamps sets, Kelley Holland the owner of Our Daily Bread Designs sent us a whole bunch of Sei designer papers and some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. She then challenged us to make Holiday projects that Shimmer.

On this project I stamped the poinsettia, the "wishing you a ... " from the new "Blessed Christmas" set and the "may the true..." from the new "Christmas Verses" set in versamark, the first two on vanilla card stock and the last on vellum, then embossed all three with copper embossing powder. I layered the vellum over the poinsettia then layered that on a scalloped circle, cut out of a copper metallic card stock.
My second project is all about the shimmer, though it is nearly impossible to see in this photo. I used the poinsettia from "Blessed Christmas", stamped it multiple times in versamark, embossed it with gold embossing powder, colored each flower using markers then sprayed liberally with gold Glimmer Mist. After they dried I then cut out and layered together various bits of the poinsettia.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have done with these new sets. It is almost time for you to hop on over to Becca Feeken's blog Amazing Paper Grace (Becca is currently experiencing blog problems so if you can't get to her blog please proceed to Deb Saaranen's Dream in Color) but before you go my secret word is IS. Be sure you are keeping a list of all the DT names so you can write their secret word next to them and email that to Grace at the address given on the ODBD Blog at the end of the hunt. You have until 8 PM EST on Wed. Nov. 3rd to email the secret word/words each designer had! Remember...One LUCKY WINNER will win the entire release!

AND
Please be sure to check out the ODBD Blog Challenge to join our Design Team in this month's challenge The challenge is to make a Holiday Card and make it SHIMMER! There are many ways you can do that... so this is easy enough for all to play along! You might use Shimmery Designer Paper, Glimmer Mist, Shimmerz, Twinkling H2O's, etc. Just show us the shimmer so fitting to the Christmas season!

Everyone is invited to play along! You DO NOT have to use Our Daily Bread designs stamps to win, but if you have them, we LOVE to see them!!! Link your card to the Latest Challenge Thread on the ODBD Blog by Nov. 15th by 8 PM EST. There will be a $30.00 Store Credit given to the winner of this challenge! Show us the Shimmer!!!
